Manager/Sr. Manager – Finance, Compliance & Admin

General Manager/Director - RM & Communications

General Manager/Director - Programmes

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Zoho Creator to streamline organisational processes. Responsibilities include building custom apps, forms, and dashboards, scripting in Deluge, and automating workflows. The role also requires API integration with Zoho and third-party platforms, managing databases, and generating reports. The position supports end users, resolves technical issues, and ensures data accuracy and security. Collaboration with teams, maintaining documentation, and staying updated on Zoho Creator features are key. A strong understanding of low-code platforms and process optimisation is essential.

The Manager/Sr. Manager – Finance, Compliance & Admin oversees day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, payroll, audits, and compliance. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, manages donor grant finances, and leads the annual budgeting process. They maintain internal controls, supervise finance staff, and ensure adherence to legal and donor compliance standards. Responsibilities include managing Zoho Books, donation records, and all payment transactions. The role also involves advising leadership on financial planning, representing The Opentree Foundation in donor audits, and handling all regulatory proceedings, ensuring transparency and efficiency in financial and administrative operations.

The General Manager/Director – Resource Mobilisation, Communications & Volunteer Action leads strategic fundraising, donor engagement, brand positioning, and volunteer integration at The Opentree Foundation. Reporting to the CEO, this senior leadership role involves designing fundraising strategies, managing grants, building institutional partnerships, and amplifying the organisation’s narrative across platforms. The role also includes overseeing volunteer programmes, driving communication initiatives, and leading a cross-functional team. With a focus on systems, storytelling, and collaboration, the position ensures sustainable revenue, increased visibility, and meaningful engagement, aligning all efforts with the organisation’s mission and play-based programme impact.

The General Manager/Director – Programmes leads The Opentree Foundation’s outreach strategy with a focus on scale, depth, and quality. Reporting to the CEO, this senior role drives government and NGO partnerships, ensures effective programme implementation, and aligns outreach with the organisation’s play-based learning mission. Responsibilities include strategic planning, budgeting, stakeholder management, team leadership, quality assurance, and monitoring. The role also involves representing the organisation in key forums, co-designing programmes with partners, and positioning The Opentree Foundation as a thought leader in play. It ensures impactful delivery, strong partnerships, and systemic influence across districts.

Co-Founder, Shweta Chari shares the journey of the Toybank beginning with a simple belief that it is easier to build strong children than repair broken adults.
